Fijigold

Candace Jones (aka) Fijigold (17) is an enigma. She is an extremely talented young lady. She is a singer/ songwriter, rapper, dancer and much more as you will soon see. She has been dancing all of her life. She started out at the age of 4 doing gymnastics, began all- star cheering at 7 and began formal dance at age 11. It was in dance where she first found her passion. She studied and watched others and soon began making up her own dances. Her unique brand of dancing brought her much attention. She joined the elite dance squad Black Pearlz and competed throughout the USA. Soon she became one of their choreographers. She has become so popular that she has more than 102k followers on Instagram.
As a singer, she participated in choirs and talent shows to express her creativity and emotions. Her inspirations include Rihanna, Erykah Badu and Jazmin Sullivan.
Candace is also a track star. She recently won an award for MVP at East high school after breaking the school record for the women’s 4×4.
She is in the studios now working on a song with STARS stablemate Temani and getting ready for track season.

S.T.A.R.S. was created by musician / producer Chris Powell. Some of the artists he has worked with include Stevie Wonder, Rick James, Destiny’s Child (Beyonce), Troop, Teen Dream and Paula Abdul. Powell has more than 30 years of music experience and was and artist and producer signed with Motown Records.

S.T.A.R.S. has locations in the USA and also INTERNATIONALLY.

For the past 4 years S.T.A.R.S. has had locations in Cincinnati, Columbus and more recently in the LeBron James Boys and Girls Club in Akron.

The program also has participants in South Africa, Ghana, Brazil, England, and Australia.
